Before you Invest in anything, you have to invest in yourself

Tarek’s timeline

“Investing in Real Estate. Investing in Others.”

When one person teaches, two people learn

I built my entire career by investing my time to learn skill sets that helped me create income, and once I succeeded, I invested back into others. Looking back at it all, if I could give you one piece of advice that was always consistent for me it would be this: “You have to believe in yourself.

1

Started Flipping Houses

In the last recession with his back against the wall and a newborn baby on the way, Tarek learned how to flip houses through trial and error.

2

2

Flip or Flop

Before Tarek even finished flipping his first house he pitched a house flipping TV show… and actually got one.

3

Forced to Scale

Due to having to film TV 4-5 days a week he had to quickly figure out how to teach others his skill set and build a team.

Success in the Spotlight

People literally saw Tarek build all his success on global television and thousands of people started to reach out to learn real estate investing from him.

HomeSchooled was Born

Realizing his entire career came from learning and teaching in the real estate industry he made a commitment to help as many people as possible find success through real estate.

No one said it would be easy. We just said it would be worth it.

The End Game.

01

Learn

We teach our students high leveraged skills that enable them to work smarter not harder in the real estate investing industry.

02

Earn

The first goal should be increasing active income so you have disposable income to invest.

03

Return

Active income is all about working for money. Passive is money working for you. The end game is all about passive returns so that you get paid even when you’re sleeping.

A Purpose Driven Journey

Investing in Real Estate, so we can invest in real estate

Lots of people want to be successful from the time they are just a little kid, but the funny thing is many people find it challenging to actually define what success means to them. Is it more money? The ability to buy anything you want? Most people know that isn’t the answer but they still can’t put it into words.

Tarek once said to Josh “The reason I buy and sell as much real estate as possible is so I can buy and own as much real estate as possible,” which sounds very confusing initially. The key to long term wealth is to own assets that pay you forever so that you can take your time and freedom back, because here’s the truth about life: The best things in life are free, however the more money you have, the more time you have to enjoy those things. Our purpose is helping as many people as possible achieve that.

We’re all just a product of our mentors

Meet yours…

If you read the timeline above, you may have noticed it says that Tarek pitched a house flipping TV show before he ever flipped a house… Yep, that’s a true statement, and when it comes to reality TV… this is as real as it gets. So when Tarek started making mistakes as a brand new investor, he not only had to solve each problem on his own, come up with alternative budget ideas, and scramble to figure out how to do things on the fly, he had to do it on national television. Needless to say, he kicked it into gear, failing fast and learning faster.

Tarek was motivated by transparency: to share his shortcomings, successes and failures with others as a thought leader, guinea pig and now a high-level educator. Through all Tarek’s years learning the hard way, he always promised that once he figured this thing out he would commit to helping others so they didn’t have to experience the hardships and obstacles he did. Tarek’s personal mission is to go above and beyond providing resources that allow people to learn from someone who has already made every mistake in the book, so they don’t have to.

Ryguy is HomeSchooled's head coach... After working in corporate America for 12 years, Ryguy's initial attraction to real estate stemmed from one primary quest: "how can I surf every single day, while still making money for my family." Over 15 years ago, he attended a real estate investing seminar to learn how to build a passive investing portfolio, and got hooked. His passion for helping people cause him to fall in love with real estate investing coaching which he has now done for over a decade. Ryguy has flipped hundreds of houses and taught thousands of people how to build a career investing in real estate.

Learn it from someone still doing it…

Entrepreneurs that make money in the real estate industry.

I don’t know about you, but for us, it rubs us the wrong way when someone’s only company is teaching you how to do something.. If you’re that good at it shouldn’t you do it yourself? Even when Tarek was in college he struggled with this concept because most of his professors were people that worked in a career, but then started teaching once they retired. Wouldn’t you want to be taught by someone still actively in the business? That’s the difference. We own and operate multiple brands in the real estate industry including a fix and flip business and a commercial real estate investment firm so we can always deliver our students the most up to date information that is working in real time.
